It is one of the best beach destinations in India where you can find stunning beaches and a calm, effortless lifestyle. Some of the largest and cleanest beaches can be found in North Goa such as Anjuna beach and Vagator beach. Both of them are around 2.5 km from our hotel in Arpora. You can also visit Baga beach and Calangute beach which are 5 km away from White Pearl Suites.

Churches and Temples:

 
The Churches in Goa look ethereal with their unique architecture and enchanting visuals. A great example of this would be The Basilica of Bom Jesus which was built in the 16th century. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site owing to its immense cultural value in society. St. Francis Xavier is mummified and housed in this church!

Mangeshi Temple is one of the oldest and most-frequented shrines in Goa. The temple is dedicated to Lord Mangesh, an avatar of Lord Shiva. The seven-storied uniquely shaped lamp tower at the temple entrance creates a beautiful visual when lit with oil lamps during festivities. Saptakoteshwar Temple is one of the six major shrines of Lord Shiva that rests in the Konkan region. You might need to utilise a  ferry to access this landmark from the island of Divar.

The forts in Goa are the embodiment of Goa's culture and history. Fort Aguada is one of the forts you must definitely visit on your trip to Goa. Established in 1612, this extensive fort offers a stunning view of the Arabian Sea. The fort houses a four-storey Portuguese lighthouse and several prison cells within its complex. Chapora Fort is more popular among youngsters. It offers a splendid view of Vagator Beach. This destination has garnered the attention of filmmakers and photographers who utilise these amazing aesthetics for their craft.

The Archaeological Museum in Goa transports you to the medieval past of Goa. Here, you will find ancient maps, bronze statues, Persian inscriptions, wooden sculptures, ancient artefacts, and many more items that will pique your curiosity and fascination.

The Wax World Museum is quite similar to Madame Tussauds! You are guaranteed to find at least 30 realistic wax figures of Indians who are famous personalities.

The House of Goa museum, designed by Gerald da Cunha, is built to imitate the facade of a ship. It is a unique museum where you can view pictures and artefacts that showcase Goa's architecture throughout the years.

Sanctuary & Waterfalls:

 
Arvalem Waterfalls in Goa is known for its strong, surging waterfall that will leave you gaping in amazement. The surrounding area also serves as a great picnic spot to hang out with your friends. 

Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary might be a visibly small wildlife sanctuary, but this natural reserve houses a plethora of animals. You can enjoy a stay at one of the cottages provided by the reserve. Here you can explore wildlife at your own pace in the comfort of the cottage.

Local Flea Market:

 
These markets are open from November to April and their popularity rises during the time between Christmas and New Year. You can find both foreigners and local residents selling their goods. Most of these markets can be found in North Goa. A few of the must-visit markets are the Calangute Market, Mapusa's Friday Market, Anjuna flea market (on Wednesdays) and Arpora Saturday night market.
 

Waterpark:

 
Splashdown Waterpark is one of the best waterparks in Goa, with a variety of rides to give you and your family a great time worth remembering forever. The waterpark is quite extensive with 5 pools and several slides. Here are some of the notable rides that you might not want to miss:

The trio is fantastic: A 30-foot-long intimidating slide with a steep descent. It is perfect for racing with 2 friends.
Fume zoom: A curving tube with 350 feet of sudden twists is an amazing option for people who like solo rides and for couples. 
Twister: If twists and turns excite you, this ride might be the best thing you experience here.
